Open Position: Draughtsman (MNC Piping Solutions Company)
A MNC Piping Solutions Company is looking for Draughtsman to be based in Selangor.
Key requirements include:
- Create and altering AUTOCAD and Solidworks drawings infused with engineering details required for specific projects.
- Ability to work from drawings, models or from discussions with project team/project leader
- May have responsibility for major sections of the project or the overall design, and could have the opportunity to contribute to decisions about the project.
- Thinking creatively and critically to support the sales & project team in the design process by creating drawings that work.
- Provide suggestions to improve design through drawings and experience.
- Well versed in thermoplastic pipings.
- Well versed in pipe support planning and structure.
- Well versed in pipe connections, flanges and joints.
- Attentive to details, weight distribution, center of gravity of equipment when drawing.
- Continuously updating & organizing project drawings lists as job progress and revisions are made.
- Maintain drawing library of projects for quick access during proposal stages.
- Checking & reviewing drawings for errors before sending to project team /sub-contractors.
- Responsible to get clarification from Engineers on any uncertainty before starting drawings
- Create, edit and update standard details for use in projects.
- Printing of drawings in various formats and delivering them in a timely manner.
- At least 3 years drafting experience in piping, skids.
