Open Position: General Manager, China (Regional Precision Manufacturing Company)
A Regional Precision Manufacturing Company is looking for General Manager to lead the business in China, including two manufacturing plants and one sales office.
Key requirements include:
- Main responsibility to work with group manufacturing and quality team to implement world class manufacturing best practices.
- Responsible for the P&L of the plant and drive continuous process improvement to achieve cost savings.
- Oversee production, procurement, planning, warehousing, engineering and quality.
- Develop and move strategy to grow profitability and meet financial goals.
- Build new relationships with clients and maintain relationship with current clients.
- Oversee the Sales team in the country.
- Liaise with regional plants for semi finished goods to the countries.
- Strong Engineering background, especially in precision manufacturing and customizable products (foam and elastomer)
- Strong consumer products market knowledge.
- Possess strong business acumen.
- More than 15 years in Manufacturing background, preferably from contract manufacturing, electronic components, hard disk, aerospace or automotive industry.
- Malaysian/Singaporean who had lived and worked in China for at least 10 years.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
