Open Position: Regional Sourcing Manager – Professional Services
A MNC manufacturing company is looking for Regional Sourcing Manager – Professional Services to be based in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor.
Key responsibilities and requirements:
- Create and execute category strategies related to spend for best cost and quality to maximise value for stakeholders.
- Define and execute sourcing strategies to drive best value globally.
- Contract management and supplier management.
- Ensure prices remain competitive for existing and new contracts.
- Analyze spend portfolio and determine overall procurement approach.
- Proven ability to communicate across the company on policies to achieve cost reduction.
- Reporting on performance metrics to key stakeholders.
- Willing to travel and join international calls at night to follow international suppliers and divisions.
- Leadership qualities to lead a team of global category specialists.
- Degree in BS Supply Chain Management, Engineering. MBA is an added advantage.
- At least 15 years of working experience in related field.
- Certifications for professional supply chain management.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally.
- Supplier management, qualification and contract writing experience.
- Remote working is allowed.
- Open to Malaysians only.
