Sales Support Executive (International Palm Oil Exporter)

Open Position: Sales Support Executive (International Palm Oil Exporter)

An International Palm Oil Exporter is looking for Sales Support Executive to support sales, logistic and finance functions to be based in Selangor.

Key requirements include:

Sales operations:

  • Handling customer inquiry (new & existing)
  • Approach new customer
  • Provide daily price quotations and follow up
  • Handle customer inquiry related to product specification with timely response
  • Sourcing for the product & its matches from Suppliers (locally and overseas) and request for documents like products specs and any certificates required by the customer
  • Close follow up with suppliers on quotations & product matching
  • Execute and communicate the order confirmation by customer to contract team to issue SC & PI and review them before sending it to customer
  • Follow up with customer on partial payments arrangements closely & provide the payment copy to finance and follow up for update
  • Contract amendments and changes requests to contract desk
  • Sample requests & dispatch of the samples to the customers
  • Follow up on sample request status (suppliers & customers)

Logistic operations:

  • Follow up on contract order execution status on shipments planning with operation team weekly
  • Send copies of customer advance payments to finance and follow up on receipts
  • Request for freight rates updates from operation team
  • Track shipment status and its updates
  • Check documents readiness and when it was dispatched after shipments

Finance operations:

  • Validate customer statement of account provided by finance
  • Validate and confirm on the agent commission allocation quarterly and re-validate before pay out.
  • Monitor the debtor Aging & validate the information based on status of shipments & documents.
  • Follow up with finance on buyer payment receipts

Line Manager reporting:

  • Sales records updates & tracking (weekly)
  • Update daily costings file for selected customers
  • Costing updates for when amendment occur of the contract
  • Update customer inquiry status
  • Update samples status
  • Ad Hoc tasks (internal updates, analysis. etc)
