Open Position: Strategic Procurement and Sourcing Manager (Leading Heavy Vehicle Fabrication Company)
A leading heavy vehicle fabrication company that supplies vehicles all over the world is looking for Strategic Procurement and Sourcing Manager to be based in Johor.
Key requirements include:
- You will be the head of department for the procurement team which consist of about 10 people.
- Management of day to day operation of the procurement department.
- Negotiate on pricing and renegotiate to achieve best price.
- Overlook logistics and ensure materials are delivered on time for production.
- Strategic sourcing for material from the region like China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand and Laos.
- Look at opportunity for cost savings for the fabrication plant.
- More than 5 years as manager in procurement preferably from automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Have experience sourcing for parts and spare parts from the region.
