Open Position: Accountant (APAC MNC Organisation)
An APAC MNC Organisation is looking Accountant to join them and be based in the Pasir Gudang, Johor office. You will be responsible in oversee the regional general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the financial transactions.
Key responsibilities include:
- More than 4 years working experience as Accountant with professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or etc as an added advantage
- Prepare and review both direct and indirect tax (Corporate tax, WHT, SST etc)
- Review and analyse financial reports (Income statement, Balance Sheet and cash flow) and variance reports of business for the management
- Prepare and review tax provisions, and perform deferred taxation provision
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filing for the APAC region
- Keep abreast on the development of tax regulations and policies and provide advice on the impact to business regularly
- Provide support and training to relevant staff within the department
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide support for all accounting activities
- Work closely with the Finance department for relevant tax matters and participate in future projects of the tax department
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
