Open Position: Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance(Reputable Hotel)
A reputable hotel in Penang island is currently hiring Assistant Manager/Manager, Finance to join them and lead a Finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Degree holder of Accounting and related professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, MIA or etc as an added advantage.
- Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
- Assist all department heads by reviewing and monitoring expenditures in each department.
- Process monthly financial statements and report on these to the management team.
- Verify payroll transactions before finalization of processing.
- Manage creditors and ensure they are paid timeously, taking into account settlement discounts and applicable rebates are collected.
- Oversee all Debtors are collected, where required and assist with problem solving.
- Review and authorize all payments to suppliers in accordance with cash flow availability.
- Good stakeholder and management skills.
