Open Position: Desktop Migration (1-Month Project)
Calling IT Students/Graduates/Working Professionals that are available to support the Desktop Migration project happening in December 2022 for 1-month duration.
Your responsibilities include installing a new operating system and platform and upgrading applications and desktop systems within the company’s network. You must test the compatibility of existing PC software and provide fixes or alternatives if necessary. You will also provide post-migration support to help employees with the new operating systems, troubleshoot when issues arise and etc.
Tasks involved:
- Test and clean PCs, laptops and other related hardware as needed.
- Maintain, analyse, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals as needed during the upgrade.
- Set up, configure and add all required hardware during upgrade.
- Restore all user and configuration data from user’s backup.
- Migrate from Local domain to Global active directory (AD) domain.
- Provide resolution of end user’s technical issues post migration.
