Open Position: Data Engineer, Senior (Technology based company)
A Technology based company is currently hiring a Data Engineer, Senior to come and join them in the Selangor office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Possess degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in any related field.
- Support in design and develop scalable, robust, and high-performance data architecture to support diverse data processing needs.
- Identify client- and server-side responsibilities and assess various solution pros and cons.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows to improve system efficiency and reduce latency.
- Enhancing the accessibility, comprehensibility, and usability of extensive or intricate datasets.
- Delivering data effectively to users/clients.
- Assessing and advising on infrastructure changes for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following Database Management Systems within the AWS cloud platform: MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in programming and scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience in data architecture development and implementation.
- Collaborative team player in cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Adaptable to tight deadlines and managing multiple overlapping projects.
