Open Position: Procurement Manager (Leading Manufacturing Company)
A leading manufacturing company is looking for Procurement Manager to be based in Selangor.
Key requirements include:
- Oversee company’s supply chain management, procurement operations and cost saving exercises across the plants.
- Take up the whole process of procurement and supply chain activities, inventory, logistics including shipping and distribution.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the dynamics of production requirement in terms of supply and prices.
- Monitor and forecast prices of core raw materials and manage contracts including negotiation and suppliers’ performance evaluation.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Deliver cost savings strategies.
- Lead implementation of ERP.
- More than 5 years of working experience as Manager in a sizable manufacturing company.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Good written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
- Well versed with custom procedures and shipment process.
- Always aware of world oil prices and forex trends.
- Good experience in ERP system.
- Experienced in procuring commodity products.
