Open Position: Security and DevOps Engineer (IT Service Company)
An IT service company is currently hiring a Security and DevOps Engineer to come and join them in the Selangor office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Possess Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or in any related field.
- Design and implement security measures to protect our systems from potential threats and attacks.
- Develop and maintain secure DevOps pipelines, integrating security practices into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) process.
- Perform regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify and address potential weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Automate security tasks and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive security and DevOps documentation.
- In-depth knowledge of security practices, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
