CV Tips. Getting Shortlisted For Interview Session.

My eldest daughter has been watching cartoon shows where she is particularly interested to watch cartoons with “Bear” character. Last week, we were at a friend’s house when a Bear cartoon show was airing at that time (it was from Unifi’s Hppytv box). I could see that she was paying full attention watching the show.

Since then, my daughter has been asking me, “daddy, I want to watch the Bear cartoon show on TV”.  So, I took out our HppyTV box and plugged it into the TV. During the time, the same cartoon channel was airing another cartoon show. My daughter was not interested and she kept requesting for the Bear cartoon show (I believe this cartoon show is only aired at night during weekends only).

In the end, I opened Youtube and found the same Bear cartoon show. My daughter was so happy that she gave me warm bear hug and said thank you to me.

This scenario above is quite similar during CV review session. Both HR and Hiring Manager would be interested to find similar working experience or technical skills that are relevant to the roles.

It’s very important for you to understand what are they looking for in your CV to ensure your get shortlisted for the interview session.

I will be sharing more during the CV Write-Up class on next Wednesday,23rd October 2019.

Have a great day everyone.
